About this listen

Everybody wants to live a successful and satisfying life. The secret to living such a life is lifestyle, which is a collection of a myriad number of habits that characterize how a person lives on a regular basis. A lifestyle of bad habits will lead to an unsuccessful and unsatisfying life, while a lifestyle comprised of mostly productive habits can help you live the life of your dreams. That’s why you’ll need to master your lifestyle and not let it master you.

One of the most important, I even dare say the most important, areas of lifestyle mastery is money management. Why? You can’t live without money, because money makes it possible for you to afford the basic necessities required for survival such as food, shelter, and clothing. It also affords you more than the basics, which can make your life successful and satisfying, such as the ability to travel, a beautiful home, and all other fine things in life.

While money doesn’t buy you everything, it can help you acquire and accomplish anything that can help make your life a successful and satisfying one.

In this book, Lifestyle Mastery Money Management: Eliminate Debt, Stop Impulse Spending, and Finance Your Dreams, you will learn about two of the most important factors that can make or break your personal finances and your ability to finance your dreams: debts and spending. More importantly, you will learn practical ways to manage them, so that you can successfully master your own personal finances and live your dreams. So, grab your copy of the book now!

Don’t bother

This book is pretty unhelpful. It compares money habits to drug abuse, made insightful recommendations such as avoid the mall if you need to spend less money, and generally prattled on forever in a rather nasally voice that atypically sounded best at 1.5x. If you need help with your finances, get a workbook that is more constructive than this one. If you’re worried about your finances, enjoy philosophy and are looking for a way to put off actually changing... this is definitely the book for you!

So, why not 1 Star? Well, unlike many financial books, this one doesn’t have much seriously BAD advice. The only red flag is the statement that not all debt is bad debt. In most cases, anything but a mortgage or funding for a lucrative job’s education is unlikely to be anything but bad debt!!
