About this listen

What would happen if everything in the world froze but you?

Littlethumb Sneezed is the tale of prolific artist and renowned philanthropist, Littlethumb Brooks. From the discovery of his creative genius as a child to his rise to fame, join Littlethumb on a satirical journey through the world of American pop culture. It is a life filled with love, laughter, charity, art, disguises, magic tricks, international intrigue and unfortunately, horrible tragedy. Also, there's a punk rocker named Tommy Toxic.

It began with the Occurrence. Littlethumb was a little boy…

Critic reviews

“I was delightfully surprised at how much fun this book was to read. The journey of Littlethumb as a prodigious child artist was endearing, complex, and dramatic in big ways as the story evolves into conflict and adulthood. Great storylines, character development and a quirky storytelling voice make this a very enjoyable book unlike any other... I highly recommend it.” -Michael M. McGuire, Award Winning Film/TV Writer, Director & Producer: Aquarians, Color Out of Space, Resurrection, Electrick Children, Paul T. Goldman

“The title of this book fascinated me. What (or who) in the world is a “littlethumb” and what could be important about its sneeze? Finally, I broke down and bought the book and I was not disappointed. It’s the most unapologetic omniscient narrator POV that I’ve ever encountered...a very quirky book, funny and satiric. Recommended. Read and enjoy, and maybe weep.” -Lorinda J. Taylor, Author: The Termite Queen, The Man Who Found Birds among the Stars

The story is compelling and filled with action, romance, tragedy, and lots of humor. The characters are well fleshed out and very real. This is one of the best books I've read in a long while. I highly recommend it, if for no other reason than for the monkeys. They are a hoot.

A very enjoyable read.

I really enjoyed this novel. It’s quirky, fantastic, romantic, and tragic. You never know where it will take you. I especially love the characters; some you love and some you hate and some you’re just torn between. Littlethumb Brooks is such a unique protagonist. 10 out of 10. Will read again. Can’t wait for the sequel.

Such a great read.
