Insightful and Supportive for Partners

I picked this up to better understand what my husband deals with, and I’m really glad I did. It’s not technical or overwhelming—just practical advice that makes sense for real life. The parts on communication, work, and daily routines helped me see things from his side and gave me ideas for how to be supportive without overstepping. It also made me more patient and aware of what ADHD looks like in adult relationships. Really helpful for anyone who loves someone with ADHD.

finally manage adult ADHD

This is written and narrated clearly, with easy to understand information on adult ADHD, different types of it, how it can make time or project management harder, AND how it can add creativity and spark to any process. It's a great resource, especially for adults who have been recently diagnosed with ADHD or have been struggling with what they think might be ADHD-like issues. There's guidance on how to get support through community, therapy or activities that boost mental and physical health, and resources to help limit devices, distractions, and social media. Highly recommend this book to anyone learning about their own neurodivergence, or wanting to learn more in support of family or friends with ADHD.

Felt Understood

As someone navigating adult ADHD, this audiobook really hit home for me. It didn’t just list symptoms, I felt like it spoke to my everyday struggles with work, relationships, and keeping my life in order. The advice was super relatable and actually doable, even on days when focus is hard to come by. I especially appreciated the parts about managing finances and parenting—areas that often feel overwhelming. Definitely worth the listen if you want to feel seen and supported.

Real, Relatable, and Respectfully Unfiltered

I’ve known for a while that ADHD played a part in how I work, think, and communicate but most books either talk down to you or feel like they were written for a textbook. This wasn’t that.

Living Fully with Adult ADHD is practical, relatable, and honestly a bit of a relief to listen to. It doesn’t try to “fix” you. It gives you tools to work with how your brain operates, not against it. The chapters on managing relationships and work really hit home for me.

I especially appreciated how it handled productivity without forcing cookie-cutter systems. It gave me new language to explain what’s going on in my head and more importantly, what to do about it. Whether you’ve been officially diagnosed or just strongly suspect you’re wired a little differently, this book is 100% worth your time. It's more like a conversation with someone who gets it.

Gave Me Helpful Insight

My brother was recently diagnosed with adult ADHD, so I listened to this to try and get a better handle on what he’s going through. It was clear, relatable, and actually explained things in a way that made sense. I didn’t realize how much effort it takes for him to stay on track. It gave me a better understanding of his daily challenges and how I can be more supportive. Really glad I took the time to listen.
