Publisher's summary

Jay Jarvis is pondering commitment. But his math is getting complicated. Can he survive a trip through the Outback with his cluster of quirky friends? "Refreshingly honest. As charming as Bridget Jones's Diary from the male point of view." (Library Journal)

In a perfect world we would be reading Blackston not Blackstock

I remember a time when I would rush to the new book section at my local library and look for books by my favorite authors. Ever Once in a while I would pull a Terri Blackstock book off the shelf then slump when I realized it wasn’t Blackston. Sadly i don’t think will ever get a Ransom’s Origin or how Lydia meet Edward.

love it!

Read all three books now, (listened to this one) and each one got more interesting. A bit over the top and unbelievable but wholesome and enjoyable!

Another great from Ray Blackston

The third in the series, I couldn't wait to listen to Lost in Rooville. I wasn't disappointed! The characters are so vivid I feel like I know them. There couldn't be a better choice for narrater. Andrew Peterson has read all three and he does and awesome job.

Fun and enjoyable

If you could sum up Lost in Rooville in three words, what would they be?

This book and Blackston's others are all categorized as Religious Fiction. The major problem is that the Christian stuff is jumbled in with the rest along with gay and lesbian. This is not a slow listen and it will not leave you disinterested, I wanted more but only 4 of Blackston's 5 books are available (that was a joke.) It's hard finding non Christian Romance on Audible, and I like to come to Blackston's stuff then jump to similar authors.

Cheap After School Christian TV Special

I only made it halfway through this book before I had to stop reading the nonsense.

It reminded me of those after school tv specials they use to have. Simple stories with simple morals attached.

Warning - this is a book for

I didn't realise this was a "Young Christians" book, and almost didn't finish it. I guess I'm glad I did ... but I can't recommend it to the general reading public.
