Publisher's summary

When she was accidentally pushed into a wormhole, Allorah "Al" Maines never imagined she'd be thrown back in time, land at the feet of a gorgeous Highlander, and be taken as his prisoner. Al is awestruck by the savage Scot who chained her up in his dungeon. But once she emerges from her cell, she finds herself even more captivated by the roguish Highlander he's transformed into. He's an undeniably enticing manifestation of all her secret fantasies - ones she's tempted to explore. However, Al knows that passion fades and lust dies. Planning for a future on her own is the only way their story can end.

If all women in the 21st century were as stubborn as Allorah Maines, Keir MacCoinnach wept for the future of man. Nay, he despaired for them. She's utterly obtuse, difficult, aggravating...and quite possibly the most fascinating woman he's ever met. Keeping her in his bed and in his heart is the key to a life of love and joy. But can Keir convince Al to share that life with him before she walks away forever?

Contains mature themes.

Interesting plot

I loved this book. The first book will always be my favorite but this one is worth a credit. Intense sexual scenes that I fast forwarded through.

Good time travel Highlander book

The was my second fav in this Highlander series. The main charter is a scientist who is working on a time travel project that goes wrong. A great love story worth a credit with a good narrator

Ok

I enjoyed listening to Kirsten Potter. This was a cute and steamy story of "Al" and Keir. I liked # 1 & # 2 better , I skipped #3. I glad I got to listen from the Romance Package.

Very Pleased

What a fun series. I know I'm skipping around the series, but I couldn't resist reading this one. The moment I read the description I knew I would fall in love with these characters, and I did. Al is the perfect woman to go back in time. She's understanding and intelligent with her actions. Keir is rough at first, but a complete sweety at heart. I loved all the side characters, they really helped in moving the story forward. The ending was perfect, if a bit sad for one side character.

LOVING HANGING OUT WITH THOSE SCOTS

This is the 4th book that I've listened to in this series. I keep buying them because they are so darn good. Yet, I've never written a review until now, because this was just hot damn sizzling good. I love Kirsten Potter she is the perfect narrator for these books. One of them was not narrated by her and I could really tell the difference. Kirsten makes these books come alive. I don't think that I could read the books and understand them because of the ancient Scottish dialect that is portrayed. So that makes Kirsten God sent. I love the way the author mixes the eras together. I know lots of thoughts are truly written from reading non-fiction type books, so I know that this author did her homework to enable her to present to us this awesome series. As far as I know there is only one more book in the series and I've already bought it. However, this is my favorite so far, this one was on fire. Had me blushing and holding my face and thinking My, My and Alright then. Kudos to Ms. Fortin and Ms. Potter ... you ladies are incredible.

Good story -Fast moving

PRO...I liked the story line... intimate scenes were very well done. Characters were interesting & pretty well developed.
CON... Kirsten as narrator was a wee bit irritating! She often is too sarcastic when she should be calm & strong instead. She didn't convey the right amount of chemistry between the characters. She made their banter more trite & frustrating. I give this story a 5... on a 1-10 scale because of it.

Great Story

I'm so glad Kirsten Potter was back for this story. She did an excellent job portraying the characters, as she did in the 1st 2 of the series.
