About this listen

My marriage is in trouble.

Jaxar and I didn't exactly have a regular romance since he abducted me and then sent me on a journey that could've resulted in my death. But that's neither here nor there. And what doesn't kill you, makes you bitter. I mean, stronger.

Anyway, the point is that my husband, who I adore, is becoming distant. That, plus my hormones, are turning me into someone I don't recognize. With war imminent, now is not the time to be insecure and emotional, and yet tell that to my pregnant self. All she wants to do is eat and cry. (Insert eye roll here.)

I need to figure out how to save my relationship with Jaxar, as well as lead my people, or I won't be just dead emotionally, but physically as well. And I didn't travel all across the galaxy to just give up now.

Guess it's time to grab my hairpins and put on my big girl panties, because I'm going to let my inner Boraq come out to play.

*Very intense emotionally, but there is no killing of main characters, and the HEA is a given.*

Fitting Ending

I have thoroughly enjoyed this entire series from start to finish. I definitely recommend this to anyone who loves romance novels featuring no-nonsense heroines and the sometimes overbearing aliens who are built to love and protect.

Great Ending to series

I’m so glad I listen to this one. It was a great ending and also heartwarming for them to finally open up and become one. I love the the whole series and how it intertwined the Dravions.

Personally... I LOVE this narrator!!!

I love this series. I also love that the Dravians were brought in to help at the end. I've seen a few reviews of people that did not like this narrator and requested that you use another. But I personally LOVE this narrator. So PLEASE do not listen to just those few individuals.

NO Gum chewing!

Story was great, i know every one seems to like this narrator but honestly while reading a book gum chewing shouldn't be allowed it's gross and distracting especially while doing each character ! I don't know if any one else noticed this? i seen other reviews with comments about the narrator having a lisp? that's not it at all she chews gum.

Too much whining

The story may not have been so bad if it had a better narrator; practically whined throughout the whole book which is a turn off. There were a few funny moments. Plus, seems something is missing related to consequences for betrayal.

Need to have gone through child birth to enjoy.

I belive there aso many things in this book that might not be entertaining unless you have had children.

Please get a different narrator

The way that Rachel Music anunciates every syllable and spits at the end of each word really ruined the story for me. It was so hard to listen to, so much that I won't be purchasing anymore books with her narration. It was extremely annoying.
