About this listen

Is true love with your soul mate worth risking your life for?

When werewolf Luke Morgan runs an errand with his brother Kelan, the last thing he expects to find at their neighbor's ranch is his soul mate. The tall, muscular ranch foreman Mark Malone is every gay man's fantasy. The only problem? Neither Luke nor Mark is gay.

Unable to deny the attraction they feel for one another, they decide to try and make things work. The relationship at first seems all they could hope for but trouble in the guise of Ethan Walker, a werewolf who has his sights set on Luke, threatens to destroy their newfound happiness and the future they have planned together. When Ethan's threats turn to physical violence, is the mating bond and blossoming love between them worth risking their lives for?

I love the story line but wished Ethan could have seen a more horrific faith.

The love bond.

Virtual Voice Performance (1-star bc I can't give it -0-): For the most part, I don't mind virtual voice. However, when it pronounces the same name, a different way, every. other. sentence. it really gets on my LAST nerve. Kelan (to me) is pronounced Kee-lan. VV pronounced it like that, but litterally in the next sentence, it's Kell-on. Then switches to Kill-in, then Kill-ann, then Kell-ann. JC, make up your mind!!

Story: The story is ok, but some issues I found, like calling baby wolves "cubs" instead of "pups." I guess it may depend on where you're from, but I've Never heard of wolves being referred to as anything other than pups because, Hello, "canine". I did like that the MCs did not have an identity crisis when they realized their fated mate was another man. Yes, they had wtf moment, but accepted what the fates had given them and went about navigating the situation.

I made it through book 1, barely. I don't know if I'll try the rest of them.
