I know this story will likely be a great listen for some—it just wasn’t quite the right fit for me. I read book one and really enjoyed the storyline, which had a nice balance of lightness and fun. Book two, however, leaned more heavily into the bipolar storyline, which, while important and meaningful, shifted the tone quite a bit. I was expecting a similar vibe to the first book, so the more serious direction caught me off guard.

I also found it hard to connect with the main characters, and the chemistry between them didn’t feel especially strong. That said, the narration was very good and made the experience more pleasant overall. The story definitely has its merits and will likely resonate with others, especially those looking for a deeper emotional arc. It just didn’t quite land for me in the same way book one did.

Pay attention to the trigger warnings but I love how this paints the picture of what misconceptions there are regarding mood disorders etc. I recommend the story just for the story but also the relatable characters. I see myself in her so much.

This is book 2 in the Maid in America series. Each book is a standalone and you do not have to read the first book to enjoy this one. I liked that character's crossover from the first book. Bad boy, screw up has just met his match. Can he find his happy ending with the woman who calls herself Aphrodite or will she just be a memory.

Wow just Wow I loved this book, the characters are so relatable and the story is beautiful. Finding a way to help people with a spicy romance book is amazing. I loved the way the author brought real life situations expertly into this wonderful series. I can't wait to hear who's next in the series.

This book was sooooo good. Dare I say it was better than the first. I loved Will and Ava's book, but this book was so good. I love that although Barrett is what I consider a man child, he grew a lot in this book and I love that he had compassion. I loved Chasity. I don't want to give the book away, but just know that you will laugh, you will cry, this book gives you ALL the feels.
