  • How would I help a friend going through a divorce if I really loved him and his family?
  • What would be different about my social media posts or comments if I really loved the people I was responding to or writing about?
  • How would I show love toward the gay couple that moved in next door if I was actually following in Jesus’ steps?
  • How would I treat the Hispanic family who I think may have crossed the border illegally and are living off government welfare if I were marked by his love?
  • How would I respond to the homeless guy begging on the curb in a loving way?

This is real life stuff. If every follower of Jesus was truly marked by love, it would change the world.

Tim Stevens has come on a long journey in his life. He has come to change by seeing that the Jesus way is one marked by love and that he wants to be marked by that same love.

With stories, challenges, and a hard look at his own life, the author gives me, perhaps us, much to think about. He shows how scripture points to how living by love is the way to make a difference in the lives of others, one act at a time. In the process we ourselves can be changed.

He doesn't ask us to see issues the way he does but instead to treat all people with dignity and to act with love. Tim says and shows how difficult that is. If you want an easy path this way isn't for you. But take a look, or a listen as I enjoyed doing, and see if this rings true.
