Story
The kingdom of Cornucopia was once the happiest in the world. It had plenty of gold, a king with the finest moustache you could possibly imagine, and butchers, bakers, and cheesemongers whose exquisite foods made a person dance with delight when they ate them. Everything was perfect - except for the misty Marshlands to the north, which, according to legend, were home to the monstrous Ickabog. Anyone sensible knew that the Ickabog was just a myth to scare children into behaving. But the funny thing about myths is that sometimes they take on a life of their own.

MY SON LOVES & PEANUT ALLERGY EDUCATION!!!
I purchased this audible book with accompanying pdf (full book) for my 5-year-old son. He’s ahead of his pre-K class, reading well and also learning Spanish so I thought I should get something a bit more challenging to stretch his mind and decided to search for some beginner bilingual picture books. I read many reviews as always on amazon before purchasing and choosing this audible book and it was an amazing price! So, I had my son listen to it and read along with it and he LOVED it. After he started, I was hoping he would get through half of it - then he asked to listen to the whole book. He loved how it was spoken in a few sentences Spanish then right after the English – which helped him to figure out the meanings of words. And now he enjoys reading the pdf – and he listens again to make sure his pronunciation is spot on. I’m explaining punctuation and quotations and asking him questions as we go along to make sure he’s understanding what he’s reading. It has a beautiful picture on every page - that’s one thing I was looking for when looking for such an English-Spanish bilingual audible book. Most pictures-very detailed and descriptive – helps my son figure out the new words. Simply AWESOME! Also, it's teaching my son some skills that literally might help him save a life one day – like peanut allergies and their avoidance and treatment - this is so so valuable!!!
