This audiobook was a great way to take you leadership skills to the next level. The author offered a done of strategies and methods to level up your management and leadership skills. The narration was fantastic which delivered a tone of information in a way that was fun and enjoyable to listen to. I learned so much, I really enjoyed the leadership self-assessment, which allowed me to reflect on my current skills and identify ways to improve. I also really enjoyed how the author teaches how to regulate emotions and the strategist to help improve communication skills. A really cool bonus was the author's talk on leveraging technology to help you make data-driven decisions, metrics are crucial in this world, and this book does a great job at helping you use them to make actionable decisions. A great listen, Highly recommend!

I'm a business consultant and this is a book I would recommend my clients reading. Most business leadership books are written by notable entrepreneurs who tell their story and share some foundational principles along the way. This book has a much more human component and focuses on the skills that managers need to be approachable yet effective.

This book definitely covers leadership theory, but takes that theory and breaks it down into action steps. There are some self-assessment guides that help you reflect on your own abilities and characteristics and those alone really help you identify your strengths and where you need to work on building som skills.

Business management has changed in the last decade with more millennials and gen Zers entering the workplace, more boomers retiring, people wanting more support from their professional environments, and now the flexibility to work in a way that supports our lives. So if you're a leader and you're not constantly refining and upgrading your skills, you'll lose effectiveness and be left in the dust. This book is adaptable for the changing landscape because it helps you learn how to observe your team, recognize what they need, and how you can better communicate with them to move the needle forward instead of giving you hard rules to live by that will be outdated in no time.

Highly recommend if you're a manager, CEO, or you're an entry level employee with ambition.
