Publisher's summary

Henry Mosley decides that he and his pals Riley and Reed need to go on some earth-shaking adventures and make a name for themselves. Henry is the mastermind; Riley’s the researcher who’s prepared for anything. And somehow fearful Reed always ends up with the scariest, craziest assignments.

Roped into wacky attempts to break world records, reenact scenes from books, solve a hundred-year-old murder, and carry out Henry’s other inspired ideas, Riley and Reed follow their fearless leader everywhere: into the wilderness, inside a bull-riding ring, into a haunted houseand into a cataclysmic collision with explosive life-forms. Gary Paulsen brings all his trademark humor to this tale of fun and disaster.

Had us Smiling!

A mild and humorous story of three friends wanting to make a name for themselves ( and capture the eyes of a few girls along the way) by performing outrageousfeats of daring. Rarely successful, these adventures take the boys to places full of wacky (mis)adventures and some SMELLY situations.

Gary Paulsen Fan

I love the stories from Gary Paulsen. we always pick a new book from him to listen to on road trips. The funniest stories we've found so far include Harris and Me along with How Angel Peterson Got His Name. We were hoping this story would fall into the same category, unfortunately this one fell a bit short. The stories are a bit too fabricated. We love Gary and will continue to listed to his collection.
