So necessary

I am ambitious and goal oriented, but my ADHD often creates a nasty barrier to me feeling successful or finishing my tasks. The end result leaves me feeling overwhelmed, unfulfilled, and like I failed. This book is so important for anyone who has lived a similar experience because of their ADHD. Not only does it explain ADHD in a clear way that helps you understand yourself more, but it focuses on keeping tasks and goals in perspective, and avoiding that despair that can happen when you feel you aren't doing enough.

Life Changer

Understanding of ADHD is essential in making changes; this book is comprehensive in giving easily understood explanations. Color coding tasks for organization is an easy technique, great suggestion. Punctuality tips are practical and easy to implement. Alex story was inspirational. GTD time management system is going to require a second visit for commiting to memory. Staying on track with technology assistance resources sounds interesting. Studying local support groups is on my to do list as the benefits were far reaching and worth a try.
Appreciate the YNAB and Mint referrals. Great book for hope when living with ADHD.

A full resource

It’s a very good audio to help with adhd. The author covered a lot of aspects. But what stuck out most to me and seemed to have more attention to detail on strategies for health for yourself and your relationships. The author includes some nice tips and strategies. The chapter on Community, Support, and Advocacy was a really appreciated addition.
