About the Author
Nate Shanok, PhD is a neuroscientist located in Delray Beach, Florida. He performs brain activity scans and brain-based therapeutics for clients with a variety of psychiatric and neurological conditions. Additionally, he teaches courses at Florida Atlantic University in the Behavioral Sciences Department. He has published research articles on mindfulness meditation, cognitive enhancement strategies, and using EEG measures to screen for neuropsychological conditions. When he is not working with clients or spending time in the lab, he is an avid sports fan. He played college tennis for the Charlotte Forty-Niners, and in 2021 reached a pickleball singles ranking of #90 in the world.
