Riveting and sweet

Read this in 1982 and enjoyed very much this production 40 years later. It is a good story and this production is excellent.

Good entertaining story

The background music and soundtrack became distracting and overwhelmed the voice performances in some cases. Still, the story is imaginative and the characters are well developed. I keep hoping that they will return in some new adventure, but it hasn't happened yet.

Favorite CJ Cherryh Sci-Fi Story

What do you do when the odds are all against you and you are in trouble and too small for the universe of anyone to notice or care? You try anyway, as crazy and impossible as it is. You do the best you can. Even when you've lost everything, you still try it.

Make the music STOP!

The performances are great and I love everything EXCEPT the endless, distracting background music. The Foley was fine but the music never stops and did nothing to enhance the listening experience. I have read the book many times but the annoying noise prevented me from following the story. Too bad, because this is one of my all time favorite Cherryh novels.

Jolly Good Job

This is one of my all~time favourite novels, and although it says book 2, it is most definitely a stand alone story, and this is an excellent adaptation.

As good as I hoped it would be

I enjoyed the performance as much as I enjoyed the book. Well done and I look forward to another.

Ack! Ridiculous Irish Accents

Very lame music ques. Please, sometimes silence is more dramatic than cheesy overwrought poorly chosen sound. Still a great story though.
