About this listen
I’m Serena. I’ve got all the looks of a mermaid: beautiful, blonde, and a killer swimmer. Except for one fact that makes me a failure, a dud in my family's eyes:
I’m a mermaid who CAN’T sing! Oh, and did I mention I HATE fish! Anyway, I’m more off-key than a walrus searching for his mate.
But sadly, our voice is supposed to do just that; help us find our mate, among other things.
So, instead of going to the prestigious school that my sister, Pearl, is going to for sirens who excel in such matters, I’m off to summer camp to teach supernaturals how to swim, and who do you think comes walking up to me all smug and grinning like he just caught a golden trout! My rival! Jake Tentrill, from the Kraken family.
Could things get possibly worse?
Welcome to Camp Spellbound. Where enemies turn to lovers and not everything or everyone is who or what they seem.
Dive in today!

Story
How I snagged a Halloween date with a real demon: Step 1: Mixed up a batch of spiked punch using a recipe I found in my grandmother’s non-magical cookbook. Well, most likely non-magical. How’s a girl to tell for sure? Step 2: Watched my sister over-indulge on said punch and barf into our grandmother’s definitely magical cauldron. Step 3: When the demon appears, ignore him. Or maybe mistake him for a guy who is very committed to his cosplay. And to his abdominal workouts. Step 4: Wait for the kidnapping. Step 5: Avoid the kitsune who shows up to try and save me, even if he is just as ...

Story
Have you ever felt like you were…different? Like you were on the verge of discovering some monumental secret about yourself, only to wake up and find out it was all just a dream? That’s how Maeve Sparrow feels, only it’s not a dream. Vampires, fae, and shapeshifters do in fact exist. Her boyfriend Caspian is a 240-year-old vampire, and his brothers and “father” are all vampires as well, and even older. She’s probably a vampire herself. Or, she’s SOMETHING, at least. Something not normal, and definitely not mortal. When she does learn the truth, it's far stranger than she could...

Story
Running a ranch is hard enough, so Makena Laine doesn't need any complications in her life. But the development company that's determined to take her land isn't giving her much choice. So when she stops alongside the road to assist a cowboy with a broken-down truck, she isn't looking for more trouble, no matter how gorgeous. Ethan Grimmson is bigger than any man has a right to be, doesn't say much, and - if she's honest - he's also a bit scary. Yet considering that she's in danger of losing her ranch...maybe scary is exactly what she needs. And Ethan's got teeth and claws....

Fun clean romantic fantasy story with happy ending!
I love these short stories and how they are just good feel good books. they have happy endings and are easy to read. I like how characters make mistakes and are forgiven. It's how people should be in real life.
