I would say it was worth the purchase, but don't expect Mike and Mike to sound like Mike and Mike.
Just OK - the show is better

How did the narrator detract from the book?
Putting the terrible content aside, Golic's performance was lacking, but actually better than Greenberg's, who at times sounded like a child being forced to read from the pulpit during mass.Any additional comments?
Composed of feeble attempts at humor and legitimately sad performances, this book was at times hard to listen to, but I will always love Mike & Mike and am glad to support them, just as long as they stick to radio.Stick to Radio

I listen to audible books in the car during my commute. This book was very boring at first but these guys are great entertainers so I kept listening, hoping it would get better. Nope. I had listened to about half of it when I finally just stopped listeing and admitted that I was doing them an injustice by getting mad at them for writing and promoting such an awful book. I never did finish it.
i still watch and listen to the show every day and enjoy it, but the book is not a good "listen". I have no idea if it's a good "read", but definitely not a good listen!
