Publisher's summary

Award-winning journalist and ESPN personality Mike Lupica crafts a moving tale of perseverance, loyalty, and of the hope that rides on one pressure-packed football toss.

If 13-year-old Nate Brodie can throw a football through a small target at a Patriots game, he will win a million dollars. Since his dad just lost his job, Nate welcomes the opportunity - at first. Yet as he practices for the big day, he faces great pressure and must draw strength from his dear friend Abby, who never complains—even though she’s slowly losing her sight.

pooop

What could Mike Lupica have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

everything

What didn’t you like about Jeffrey Brick’s performance?

Everything. Made it very boring. Talked in the same voice when talking for characters.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Million-Dollar Throw?

Last bit is good, but the rest is boring

The last fee chapters are great, but the story lacks an interesting plot that makes you want to keep reading.

Great

It was a really good book but I wish that it wasn't so sappy and so much love things in it.
