About this listen

Week 7: In Depth Entrepreneur Interviews

This is the seventh in a unique eight-week Business Mentoring Programme designed FOR entrepreneurs BY entrepreneurs.

Weeks 5 to 8 of the program delve deeper into the mindset of self-made millionaire entrepreneurs and explore the full range of subjects from Risk to making a million. Each day, for around 30 minutes, you'll hear one entrepreneur share his or her individual story with you, entertaining you, motivating you, and inspiring you as you learn.

  • Day 31: James Minter shows you what you need to change if you are serious about becoming a successful entrepreneur. At one time, James was an officer in the Royal Navy. With no business experience at all, he created one of London's most prestigious private members' clubs and served office complexes.
  • Day 32: Elena Souto teaches you what YOU need to do to replicate her meteoric success. Elena previously worked in an office and decided to start her own business, selling lingerie for bigger breasted women. Elena's talent was soon spotted and she won award after award for her business.
  • Day 33: Luke Johnson demonstrates his unique way of excelling as a capitalist investor and entrepreneur. One of the UK's most respected restaurateurs, Luke now owns many of London's most desirable restaurants and is regarded an extraordinary entrepreneur, and exceptionally talented investor.
  • Day 34: Debbie Burke will captivate you as she explains exactly what it will take for you to have a multi-million pound/dollar company like hers even if you've just been laid off. Debbie started her successful recruitment company with a credit card and a 10,000 pound credit line when the company she was working for collapsed.
  • Day 35: Lord Harris describes in detail the nuts and bolts of building a successful company. Lord Harris left school at 15 to run the family business when his father died. Lord Harris is dyslexic but has used it to his advantage.

    A Great Series for Entrepreneurs

This review is for the entire series.

Successful entrepreneurs in the United Kingdom are interviewed regarding specific topics on entrepreneurship. There are five or six regulars and an occasional "special guest interviewee." One of the regulars is an American woman ex-pat that makes one wonder why she couldn't have been successful in the USA.

The series is designed so each week is divided into a few minutes each business day with a "homework" assignment to be done over the weekend. Even though the series is British-based the principles are applicable all over the world.

If you own a business or are thinking of starting one, listen to the "Millionaire MBA Programme."
