Publisher's summary
Unlock your brain's potential using mind mapping.
Mind mapping is a popular technique that can be used in a variety of situations and environments. Students can make sense of abstract concepts and plan their revision with mind mapping. Business people can manage projects and communicate with peers with mind maps, and any creative process can be assisted by using a mind map to explore ideas and draw on them.
Mind maps allow for greater imagination when capturing ideas and facts, whatever the matter, and allow the note-holder to equate words with visual representations. If you're looking to improve your memory, prepare your business strategy, get more prepared, prep for a test, or predict your future, this is a book for you.
With details and breadth that goes far beyond any other book on the subject, it provides the history of mind map creation, an overview of what makes a mind map (and what's not a mind map), and why it's such a powerful tool and explains step-by-step methods for mind map production - from easy to complex applications - and how to deal with mind maps that have "gone wrong".
Built both for those new to the mind map definition and for more experienced users who would like to update and extend their skills, mind mapping is required on the shelf of every student and business person in the world.
Mind mapping discusses how mind mapping works, why it's so effective, and how it can be used. This takes you through a wide range of mind mapping methods, looks at the current mind mapping software options, and discusses specialized mind mapping strategies for a variety of purposes, including test analysis, memory enhancement, project management, and imagination maximization.
Here's what you will learn:
