Very Helpful.

At best this is a primer for those just introducing themselves to the topic of minimalism. If this were my first read on the topic, I suppose it might have been helpful. However, there are many other books out there that are much more prescriptive in their advice, dealing also with why we over consume.
At worst, this is one of many, many books by someone who writes a little bit about everything-- and I mean everything! If you value knowing the character from whom you're taking advice, scroll through his other literature topics before you purchase-- see if you might feel duped, too.
