Gripping story with great twists

This story tears at your heart from the very beginning. It is a parents worse nightmare and you can feel the devastation and sorrow of this family. Not only did they lose a child and have to cope with the guilt and self doubt, but with the effects of devastating bad decisions as well. With shades of Fatal Attraction this story has you on the edge of your seat. The author and narrator did an excellent job of making you feel the emotions in this story; the sorrow, pain, anxiety, anger and loss is heart wrenching. This is a well written and narrated story with real life emotions, reactions and problems, that you feel like you are experiencing along with the characters. A excellent audiobook with great twists at the end.

Great story and narration!

Another terrific story from Dalglish! Once I started listening to the audio book, I couldn’t stop. Burrows delivery was smooth and kept me engrossed. Looking forward to more from both men!!

Surviving the loss of a child

This book pulled me in from the beginning. The hurts that happened in the book due to the death of a young child were sad. As the plot progressed, it had a twist in the story that I was not expecting. I had a hard time putting the book down because I wanted to find out what happened. I couldn't sleep well until I finished the book and had a sense of relief. I pulled my husband into the story as well, trying to tell him what was going on. The narrator did a great job in the book. I highly recommend this book to those that love mysteries.
