Helping teens become self sufficient

I know for me, my parents did not just give me money when I needed it yet I see so many parents these days over indulging their kids with gifts that they don't need and their child has no sense of value with money. For me, I started my kids young with a debit card and told them if I'm not willing to buy it, then it's up to you to buy it. It's amazing how much they decide they don't need anymore. That's why I like this book though. It falls in line with exactly how I am raising my kids. The book helps teens understand that money does not just replenish and you have to balance your wants vs needs. For the expensive society we live in today, this book is a great tool to help make sure your teen can have at least a leg up in the race on life and hopefully avoid getting themselves into debt.

Fantastic Tools

I truly enjoyed this one and think that it is a must-listen for teens (and parents!) who want to get smart about managing money. The well-narrated audiobook explains everything from budgeting and saving to understanding credit—all in a way that’s easy to follow and not boring. As a parent, I found it refreshing that the book doesn’t just lecture but rather gives real-life examples our teens can relate to, like managing an allowance or saving for a big purchase. If you want your teen to understand that money isn’t endless and learn skills they’ll actually use in life, this is the perfect guide. I wish I’d had something like this when I was younger!

Very insightful for our son

We wanted our son to develop his own knowledge with finance from listening to other people, other than his boring parents so we treated him to this audible and wow, what an engaging and fun filled audio it was! It had everything our son needed to get started to manage money, make money and more and it was really well narrated with a very experienced author sharing his depth of knowledge. We even learned a few things as adults! Highly recommended for your teenager!
