 O’Neill Boudreaux was a highly respected Detective on the New Orleans Police Force, which had been his dream since high school. He was a hard working cop turned chief detective, who had conducted many investigations, during his time serving in the department. New Orleans had been good to O’Neill and his family, but there was never a day that went by that some fear about what he did, didn’t creep into his bones.
New Orleans was a wild and tough tourist town, but he loved it and the excitement it held, along with that inner fear that fueled him and kept him going, every day! He had joined the force right out of college and now was getting near his time to retire and had thought about what that would mean for him and his family. He thought long and hard, but wasn’t sure if he really wanted to do that, at least not yet. He had no idea what he would do if he did retire and that was a big fear he carried too! Police work was dangerous but so was boredom and he hated to be bored! He had his faithful and useful work dog, Tay Tay, who was a magnificent, well trained German Shepard, that was as smart as a whip.
Unfortunately, one day he came across a situation that upset his apple cart and he was plagued with concern and wondered how he was going to deal with it. This time it was a case that involved some very good friends of his, Brian Everett and Ryan Christopher. If his friends were in trouble then he had to be there to help them! Retirement could wait a bit longer!
The boys had all grown up in the same neighborhood and had been friends since grade school. The only thing different now was, that Brian and Ryan ran in some very high class money circles, that the normal average person like hard working O’Neill, could never even fathom!
Ryan and Brian left New Orleans behind after college and became self-made, rich beyond reason guys, and they were handsome to boot. That in itself caused great jealousy among the male and female community and led to some underhanded dirty dealings. That is until a situation became so dangerous that they needed outside help.
