Great story. I'm going to buy the ebook. But...

I loved the story. Hot and sweet. But I feel like, even though the voice fits, a robot read it to me🤷🏻‍♀️. AI is great, but the feeling and the tone is just off and it matters in narration.

Good read

I love this. I want her more. The characters can definitely grow on. I wish it was a lot

It was okay

There were interesting parts, but the cadence was off with the narration. It read too cheery and made it seem like the story was silly rather than serious. It was entertaining though.

AI voice, why?

The story was ok. The flow was weird with stops and emphasis in odd places. I appreciate the attempt to match the voice to the main character

Virtual Voice

I really liked the story and will read the next book in the series but hated the virtual voice. Virtual voice is one tone and at times it was difficult to distinguish which character was speaking. Virtual voice was the only thing I didn’t like.

If Only Plot Twists Could Save the Plot

Look, I don’t want to be too harsh, but reading this book was like jumping on a trampoline blindfolded—chaos with a touch of whiplash. You know those scenes in movies where someone shuffles papers, and everything’s completely out of order? Yeah, that’s this book in a nutshell. Whole chunks seemed to be missing, and what was left felt like a game of Mad Libs gone rogue.

It had that "Wattpad fanfiction" vibe, like it was stitched together from random scenes that sort of, almost, kind of made sense… if you squinted and tilted your head just right. I kept waiting for the plot to find its groove, but nope, we were all over the map without a compass. Storyline execution? Let’s just say it was a hot mess. Like, a lot of "What just happened?" moments, but not in a cool, mysterious way—more in a "Did I accidentally skip foward a minute or three?" way.

And for a book that’s supposedly not for teenage girls, it sure read like it was aimed at them, minus the explicit scenes. Honestly, if you just edited out the smut, I’d half expect it to end up in the YA section.

Weak

Just no... AI voice certainly didn't help the already terrible writing. I'm all for a good story involving aliens and people or even monsters... But when it isn't done well, it REALLY doesn't work. I mean, plot is important to any story, except maybe erotica shorts. No plot would be better than a plot this bad. If you are a masochist for awful writing about alien/human relationships, this is for you.
