Private eye. Vampire. Single mom. Professional badass.

All Samantha Moon wanted was a routine cheating-fiancé surveillance gig. Instead, she ends up hanging off the landing gear of a helicopter racing out to sea. Because of course she does.

What starts as a standard background check spirals into bank robberies, kidnapping plots, suppressed rifles, and a high-stakes rescue aboard a container ship. When a wealthy senator’s daughter is drugged and abducted by the very man she planned to marry, it’s up to Sam—armed with psychic commands, vampire strength, and trademark sarcasm—to save the day.

Moon Impossible is an action-packed, funny, and delightfully over-the-top adventure in the Samantha Moon universe that asks the question: how far will one vampire PI go to stop the world's worst fiancé?

The story wasn’t really anything to right home about, but I hate to be too rough because I really struggled to stay focused on the story. The Virtual Voice was absolutely horrible on this one. The last novel I listened to with virtual voice, a Sherlock Holmes novel, was actually fairly decent, but this one was just abrasively bad. The cadence of the voice on this one matched with the AI lack of emotion and short choppy inner dialogue of the main character was just an agonizing listen.
