Publisher's summary

One minute Jordan March was falling out a window and the next she was falling in love - with the emergency room doctor!

It looked as if nothing could stand in the way of Jordan and Dr. Amy Stewart finding true love together...except a banana peel, a psycho stalker, a lesbian poetess, an extreme chef, a KGB spy, and a sex toy inventor.

Join Saxon Bennett and Layce Gardner as they combine their creative genius* to bring you the romantic comedy of the century. Guaranteed money back if you don't laugh out loud.**

* Geniuses in their own minds.

** This is a lie. The authors are broke.

Stumbling Over Themselves

Jordan March, author and illustrator of children’s books was rescuing her cat from a tree when she fell from the fourth floor of her house. Dr. Amy Stewart was working in emergency when Jordan needed her hand stitched. An instant attraction blooms but then the fiascos start happening. Quirky characters and one laugh after another. Great performance and story. Recommend.

Murphy’s law

If it could go wrong it did in this book. I couldn’t stop listening because I had to know how they would get out of the next mishap. I think this book funnier when you listen to it cause the voices are priceless. I wish there was another story with Jordan and Amy and friends.

More Than a Kiss

Gardner and Bennett are usually my tried and trues for lighthearted lesfic reading. More Than a Kiss, however, was too quirky and silly for me. For this particular story, it seems like the authors were more concerned about packing in the laughs, rather than building their plot and characters. I found myself frequently aggravated with my inability to believe in the characters or their motivations. Gardner and Bennett are still my faves, but this book is not so much.
Layce Gardner's narration was well done, and she stepped out of her comfort zone by employing multiple accents.

Crazy and Wacky

More Than a Kiss by Layce Gardner & Saxon Bennett is about the wackiest of all their audiobooks to which I've listened. You have to take the tale of Jordan and Amy with a bowl of salt. Regardless, if you don't mind over the top, it has the humor and hopelessly hopeful love story that we are used to from these crazy lady writers. It really makes you wonder what their breakfast conversation is before and after their coffee. That fly must be splitting its wings. They should be SNL writers. Layce lent a multitude of voices that kept me entertained, as usual. Thankyou.

Not for me at all

I really don't like books that are read by a narrator. It makes the story less personal. I would also would have liked that is wasn't so slow. I was literally bored to death.

What was that???!

Those were the worst 8 hours and 27 minutes of my life. I cannot get that time back! I kept listening but it never improved. Was this some kind of joke from these two writers? I have read their other books, which why I hung on so long.
