About this listen
Award-winning author and photographer Gary Smith continues his mystery adventure series with the character Warren Steelgrave.
True to the title of his first novel, The Willing, Warren Steelgrave gets involved in investigating a bomb threat by a radicalized Middle Eastern hate group. The terrorists’ plan is complex and ever-evolving. Their target may differ from the information first uncovered since their hatred is not limited to only one religion.
Central to the story is Warren Steelgrave’s unique ability to utilize the help of three very distinct entities: the national police of Italy, a powerful Mafia crime family, and a supportive American FBI agent. The cooperation between them and Steelgrave must remain clandestine to prevent public scrutiny.
Steelgrave’s ability to anticipate the terrorists’ elusive actions proves his worth. Unfortunately, Warren Steelgrave drops his guard, and an unexpected act of retribution results in near-fatal knife wounds.

Lana Fleming’s sister has vanished from the set of TV’s hottest show, and no one seems to care. Desperate for answers, Lana sneaks in as an extra, only to get stranded with Griffin Hart, an A-list action star with a reputation for good abs and bad decisions. Story
Liv’s happy with life in her thirties. She has two cats, one BFF, and no boyfriend, which is just how she likes it. Plus, she loves working at a not-for-profit software company where she can be her authentically autistic self. This is her happy ever after. But when her beloved firm merges with a repulsive rival, Liv finds herself competing with her sort-of-ex for the top job. Sure, Finn had been Liv’s best friend, with his nerdy good looks and their shared love of Tolkien, but there was that one night, their song, and … well, she doesn’t like to talk about it.

Beckett: If you’re reading this, well, you know the last-letter drill. You made it. I didn’t. Get off the guilt train, because I know if there was any chance you could have saved me, you would have. I need one thing from you: get out of the army and get to Telluride. My little sister Ella’s raising the twins alone. She’s too independent and won’t accept help easily, but she has lost our grandmother, our parents, and now me. It’s too much for anyone to endure. And here’s the kicker: there’s something else you don’t know that’s tearing her family apart.

Tension, Action, and Twists
Gary Smith never disappoints, and this latest installment is proof of his storytelling genius. The stakes are high, the tension never lets up, and Warren Steelgrave’s instincts are sharper than ever. I loved how the story explored different alliances, from law enforcement to the Mafia, making for an unpredictable and gripping plot. Brian Moriarty’s narration captures every moment perfectly, making this an immersive audiobook experience.

Brilliant Storytelling
This audiobook had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish! Warren Steelgrave is not just a detective—he’s a strategist, a survivor, and a man willing to risk it all to stop terror in its tracks. The plot unfolds brilliantly, with unexpected developments that keep you fully engaged. Gary Smith’s writing is top-notch, and Brian Moriarty delivers an incredible narration that brings every tense moment to life. A must-listen for thriller fans!

Good Thriller, But Not Perfect
There’s no denying that More Than You Know is an incredible audiobook, with great action sequences and intelligent storytelling. However, there were a few moments where the pacing felt slightly slow. That being said, Warren Steelgrave remains an unforgettable protagonist, and the final act more than makes up for any slower sections. If you love thrillers with strong, complex characters, this is still a great pick!

Solid Mystery, But Wanted More
This audiobook delivers a gripping mystery, packed with action and suspense. Steelgrave’s ability to navigate both the legal and criminal worlds makes him a fascinating character. The narration was well-done, and the pacing of the book was mostly spot-on. My only minor issue was that some of the side characters could have been fleshed out a bit more. Still, this is an excellent thriller with a compelling lead and a smartly crafted story.

A Must-Listen for Thriller Fans!
Gary Smith crafts a masterful plot that feels incredibly realistic, pulling the listener deep into the world of espionage, terrorism, and underground alliances. The pacing is perfect—never a dull moment, yet giving just enough breathing room for character development. Steelgrave’s near-death experience was a shocking moment, proving that no one is ever truly safe in this high-stakes world. An outstanding addition to the series!

This audiobook had me hooked from the very first chapter! The detailed, layered storytelling makes More Than You Know a standout in the mystery-thriller genre. The mix of investigative work, action, and character development keeps the story fresh and engaging. Warren Steelgrave is an exceptional lead, and his ability to connect unlikely allies in pursuit of justice makes him truly unique. This is a five-star listen, without a doubt!

Strong Story, But Some Slow Spots
This audiobook delivers plenty of excitement, and the writing style is top-tier. While the mystery is engaging, there were a couple of twists I saw coming. That didn’t take away from the enjoyment, though! The collaboration between Steelgrave and the different factions was an interesting aspect, and the suspense kept me invested. Overall, a great listen with only minor drawbacks!

A Great Listen, But Not the Best
Gary Smith’s storytelling is engaging and immersive, making More Than You Know a great listen. However, while the plot was intriguing, there were a couple of twists that I could see coming. That didn’t take away from the overall excitement, though! The character dynamics, the suspenseful moments, and the intense final act made this a solid addition to the series. Definitely worth a listen!
