About this listen

This exclusive Motley Crue audiobiog features Vince Neil backstage at Donnington, reminiscing over the band's wild tour with Ozzy Osbourne in the states - then a couple of years later, in Manchester, UK, with a cool, collected Mick Mars.

The Motley Cure legacy encompasses its share of extravagance and trappings, along with an array of backlashes, tragedies, accusations, and, in some corners, dark hatred. Party rock or glam rock, few were more glamorous or partied than the Crue.

This is not an authorised release by the record company or artist management, and sound quality varies, due to the nature of recording. This live audiobiog reveals intimate personal details and is a must-have for music fans, historians, and collectors.

Editorial reviews

Fans of the American heavy metal band Mötley Crüe will relish this biography. English author Chris Tetle’s winsome narration is interspersed with exclusive live audio recordings of interviews with energetic singer Vince Neil (backstage at the legendary concert venue Donnington Park in the United Kingdom) and lead guitarist Mick Mars (at the Apollo Theatre in London). This audiobook gives insight into the notorious band, which rose to international fame during the 1980s for their music, as well as their hard-partying antics. As some segments feature live recordings, the sound quality varies.

Would you try another book from Chris Tetle and/or Rockview?

My fault for not realizing the length is 20 minutes. This is just 2 interviews done by the same stuffy Brit journalist. Not even interesting. I thought it was the intro to the book. Got so bored by the 2nd interview that I tried to skip forward, which is when I realized that's all there is.

Any additional comments?

I can't imagine anyone but the most hardcore Motley Crue would be interested in this "book."

This is not the Motley Crue book
