Story
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Story
To Karl Alberg a quiet coastal town is exactly what he needs to soothe a psyche that's been battered by big-city police work. But this gentle paradise has more than its share of secrets. Bees buzz among the roses, and the local librarian is attractive, intriguing, and unattached. Perhaps he has at last come in from the cold. But a murder in small town can conceal a lot of secrets—some of them bleak enough to make a man yearn for some nice straightforward urban crime.

The great-aunt she hadn't seen since her early teens, the only adult who'd taught her to love herself, extra curves and all, had died and left her the only place she'd ever felt safe. Moving to a small town opening up her own bakery, all around the holidays was already a bit harrowing, so she didn't need the extra bother of a love interest. As a plus size, 'big girl' she knew well her limitations and one look at the dreamboat next door told her that he was way...

Nobody was surprised when the Captain of the Cheerleading Squad, Stacy Young, became homecoming queen her senior year, nor when she dated Shane Pruitt, the football quarterback, baseball pitcher, forward on the basketball team and, not coincidentally, homecoming king. She was the epitome of the all-American girl and they, the all-American couple. Their marriage just a few years after high school left no one surprised and seemed to please most. But, not everyone. However, appearances can be misleading. No one knew that this perfect couple had an imperfect marriage. No one would have guessed ...

A mystery ???
100 % pure decadence and smut . There was a degree of depravity in all of the main characters . Usually there are pluses to audio rather than print , but ,other than the pleasant British accent of the narrator, this was a story not worth telling . SMH

I Could Not Finish
This book was not what I expected. It was more about adults having sex than a mystery to me. I wanted to finish the book to find out who was the killer but I just couldn’t. Also, I do not like AI reading the story. Not enough emotions for me..No thank you!

This is a wonderful new way to listen to an audio
The virtual voice was pleasant to listen to and sounded like a real person most of the time.
I feel that I need to report things as I heard them. I would rather report issues than not to report them. So, here goes.
I heard very few issues with the pronunciation of a few words. "Jeans" like blue jeans was pronounced as "gens." The word like "tow" for tow truck was pronounced "too" or "to."
