A THRILLING WHODUNNIT OF DESPERATE LOVE - AND MURDER!
It’s a fairytale union. Madelyn Rushton is a wealthy widow searching for love. She meets a famous and much younger race car driver, JT Iverson, who is down on his luck. JT’s charm and good luck sweep Madelyn off her feet, and she quickly falls in love. Madelyn wants to be part of JT’s exciting life. JT wants to get his hands on Madelyn’s massive fortune.
After their brief honeymoon, their relationship changes. JT becomes abusive and distant. He travels without Madelyn and is seldom at home. Madelyn suspects JT has been seeing other women since he stopped being intimate with her. Coming to her senses, Madelyn tells JT the gravy train is over - no more money from her. Suddenly, her young husband wants to make amends - to rekindle their flagging marriage. JT pleads with Madelyn to accompany him on a camping trip to a remote part of Arizona.
Desperate to save her marriage, she joins JT on their fateful last trip together. Can Madelyn survive this outing, or will JT be the one left standing? Will human greed and deceit lead to a mysterious death? Find out in the final pages!

Engaging Plot
I found the book well written, with a plausible plot, including some life lessons embedded as the story unfolds. I found it easy to follow as I painted in my art journal. The characters are well developed with each of their histories revealed when they are introduced in the story line. Jimmy did an especially thorough job of writing about the trial without talking over the heads of his readers. Suspense and surprises made it a fun who-done-it mystery. I will definitely recommend it to friends who like mystery and or trail books. It is a good one.
The A-I reader was easy to listen to but I am saddened that it is putting people out of a job.
Note to Jimmy Ray: My husband and I met you and your wife on the Junk in Ha Long Bay. We found both of you delightful to talk with and wish you both well. I will be reading Roberta's book next!
