About this listen
Amidst the tranquil beauty of the mountains, Linc and Brigid had envisioned a romantic escape, a momentary breather from the hustle and bustle of life. Yet, the idyllic setting of their rented cabin turns into a chilling crime scene when they stumble upon a woman's lifeless body in Cabin 3.
The little town of Pine Hill holds secrets, secrets that weigh heavy in the air. Whispered tales of missing individuals, speculations about the Pine Hill Mine polluting the environment, and a community turning a blind eye for the sake of jobs and their town's survival intertwine, making the situation more intricate.
With the local sheriff seemingly indifferent, and unsettling rumors suggesting his involvement in a conspiracy to shield the mine, Linc and Brigid find themselves compelled to step in. Their investigations take a dangerous turn when Linc goes missing, his inquisitiveness having posed a threat to someone lurking in the shadows.
Delve deep into the mysteries of Pine Hill as Brigid and Linc confront the sinister forces that threaten not just their getaway, but their very lives. With unexpected twists and turns, this gripping tale will have you on the edge of your seat, eagerly turning pages till the shocking climax.
In this breathtaking finale to the Cottonwood Springs Cozy Mystery Series, a two-time USA Today Bestselling Author masterfully ties up all loose ends, promising a reading experience that's both exhilarating and satisfying. Dive in and witness the conclusion of a series that has captured hearts worldwide!

Just okay
The Virtual voice is horrible. It's like watching a movie with voice over and the whole time you're staring at their lips moving the wrong way.

Story fine Virtual voice NOT
The story was fine. Not amazing but not bad. But the virtual voice made it not enjoyable to listen to. I couldn't tell if it was a male or female speaking. No inflection in the voice. Virtual voice is a disservice to the book.

Thought it would be more suspenseful.
The last 4 chapters had no relevance to the main story. It was a big let down. Was very predictable.

Good story
Story was okay but the virtual voice was just to much. No pitch to voice, sounded like a machine.
