The Beginning Of The Dale Street Agency
I was entertained by this story. I liked that the author provided a prequel which detailed how Jessie Harper realized how special her cat was, discovered her unique gift, and began the Dale Street Private Investigations Agency. I enjoyed the introductions to George Jenkins and Bill Roberts, and how their previous friendship played a role in solving the mystery of several deaths in the city of Liverpool. I thought Virginia Ferguson's narration was great, and her performance added to the aura of the story. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this audiobook.

Great to learn how it all started!
This is a prequel to the Jessie Harper Paranormal Cozy Mystery series by KJ Cornwall. Jessie, already with Khan, is upset by her friend’s death and determined to find out what happened. She engages the help of George Jenkins, a childhood friend, and his friend Detective Bill Roberts. They soon find out that there is so much more going as they investigate in 1930’s Liverpool. I’ve read the other books in the series and enjoyed the prequel very much. It’s good to see how the group came together and how much the characters have grown. The narration by Virginia Ferguson was wonderful. She brought the characters and story to life.
