Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Ashley’s barely found where the paper clips are kept when she’s beset with constituent complaints–from too much noise at the Annual Lupidian Celebration Parade to a trip-and-fall chicken to a very particular type of alien hornet that threatens the very city itself. And if that’s not terrifying enough, Ashley is next up at the office karaoke night.

A Gripping Sci-Fi Adventure About Love and Power
From start to finish, My Alien Child had me captivated. The book seamlessly weaves together a story about family, love, and the struggles of raising a powerful child. The stakes feel real, and the characters are so well-developed that you can’t help but care about them. I particularly enjoyed Adam’s development as a young boy grappling with his extraordinary powers. This is sci-fi done right!

A Perfect Blend of Action and Emotion
This book is a great follow-up to My Alien Wife. The story picks up right where it left off, with even more drama, adventure, and heart. I loved how the plot focused not just on the action but also on the emotional growth of the family. Watching Charles and Elira balance their love with the challenges of raising a son like Adam made for a truly gripping read. Definitely one of the best sci-fi sequels I’ve read in a long time!

An Epic Galactic Adventure With Heart
I loved the way this book balanced intergalactic action with heartfelt family moments. The stakes are high with sinister forces after Adam, but it’s the family’s love that stands out. The author did an incredible job of blending high-stakes adventure with touching moments of parental sacrifice. My Alien Child is a must-read for sci-fi fans who love stories that dig deep into relationships.

An Unforgettable Family Saga Among the Stars
My Alien Child is more than just a sci-fi novel; it’s a story about family and identity. Charles and Elira’s love story evolves beautifully as they face new challenges as parents. Adam’s unique powers are central to the plot, and the way the family handles external threats while navigating cultural differences is heartwarming. The book is filled with action, but it’s the emotional core that makes it unforgettable.

A Family Bond Stronger Than the Stars
What makes My Alien Child stand out is the strength of the family dynamic. The love between Charles, Elira, and Adam is palpable, and I found myself rooting for them the entire time. Adam’s powers brought a lot of unexpected twists, keeping me hooked till the very last page. The world of Zythor-7 is beautifully written, and the challenges they face are intense. I would have liked a little more exploration of the planet’s mysteries, but it’s still an amazing read.

A Heartfelt Exploration of Family and Identity
My Alien Child is more than just an adventure. It dives deep into what it means to be a family in a galaxy full of differences. The way Charles, Elira, and Adam navigate their cultural barriers is so touching. Adam's abilities add an extra layer of complexity, but the real strength of this book is its exploration of love and acceptance in the face of adversity. Highly recommend for those who love character-driven science fiction.

Amazing World-Building and Character Development
The author paints such a vivid picture of Zythor-7, a planet of iridescent beauty. The cultural fusion between Charles and Elira’s worlds was intriguing, and Adam’s powers add an exciting dynamic to the story. There’s an ongoing tension with the sinister forces lurking in the background, making this a thrilling and emotional read. I appreciated the depth of the characters and their relationships. I’m hoping for a third book!
