About this listen

 For about 40 years I have been listening to my dad’s “stories.” I have many of them memorized. My siblings and I joke with each other about our favorite stories. I believe that I have part of my inspiration to become a writer came in part from my dad. I have been urging him for decades to write his stories down and to put them in a book. In 2007 I asked my dad just send me what you have. He sent me a small collection of stories, but it didn’t even scratch the surface of the stories he has in his collection. I had given up on him writing a book and just wanted the stories to preserve his legacy with my children. Well, on Father’s Day 2017 I started compiling the stories that he'd sent in a book. I have waited until now, December 18, 2017, for my dad to give me the last of his stories. I decided for his Christmas present to just take what I had and publish it! Christmas
