About this listen

Falling in love with Lenny should have been the end to all of Anita's troubles.

For her, it's only the beginning, when family secrets start unravelling. His ex-wife, Natasha, is succumbing to a mysterious disease. How can Anita compete with her shadow? How can she find a voice of her own?

And when his estranged son, Ben, comes back and lives in the same small apartment, can she keep the balance between the two men, whose desire for her is marred by guilt and blame?

★★★★★ "A creative, gripping and deeply moving tale of a young girl coming of age in unfathomable emotional circumstances."

Dealing with the challenging prospects of the marriage of opposites, this book can be read as a standalone novel as well as part of one of family sagas best sellers. Still Life with Memories is a family saga series tinged with family saga romance, fraught with marital issues, and riddled with the difficulty of connecting fathers and sons.

Engaging Story

My Own Voice builds a strong web of dysfunctional love in the smooth pen of the author. The narrator continues to pull you into the tale of a young woman on a roller coaster ride of love with all its appendages. You are hyped from the start of the story wondering how it will end. Poznansky is a master storyteller who always tempts the listener to go around the bend to hear what will happen next. Put this on your audible good reads list. Received this Audio as a gift for an honest review.

My Own Voice

I listened to this audiobook of My Own Voice. The narration was by AI. The story revolves around Anita, who had at a young age has an affair with a married man, Lenny. He wants to turn her into his wife, Natasha. Even though Anita‘s upbringing is lacking, she tries to move forward, now that she is pregnant and married to him. I was given a copy of the book by the author for an honest review.
