About this listen

Tormented by their desires, two men find love in the wilds of Scotland.

Lord Angus Ryder: I was born a gentleman, but architecture is my passion. When I was given an opportunity to restore a hunting lodge in Scotland, I jumped at the chance. Lately, my dormant passions for other men have been growing stronger and it is easier to hide away on a remote island than to face my demons. When a stranger—a very alluring stranger—washes up on the beach, injured, with no memory of his identity, I have no other option but to nurse him back to health.

Mr. Clayton Lucas: I woke up on a beach with no knowledge of who I was or how I came to be there.
Battered and beaten by more than rough waters, I desperately want to piece my life back together. Even with no recollection of my past, I knew it was dangerous to give into my passion for Ryder, a man torn by his own desires. With Ryder’s support, I regain my memory and am horrified by what I discover. Could I get over the traumas of my past and stop running away from what I want most, a future with Ryder?

a great story, butchered by poor narration. this book would be excellent if it had been read by a human. particularly one capable of a Scottish accent.

Decent virtual voice narration still leaves the vocal variety needed to distinguish between
the main characters out in the cold. I think I would have preferred reading this.
The story of two guy men facing the prejudices of Victorian society was fairly well done, but there was a disconnect that made me feel something was lacking. An O.K. read with sexual content.

A Risky Love

The AI generated reading ruined the story. It lacks the depth of a real person narrating a story. AI does not have the verbal inflections or tone to make a story come to life. The story could have been good but I couldn't finish it.
