Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Story
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Story
In the not-too-distant future, a 21-member crew launches from Earth. Their mission: to establish a temporary colony on Mars. Little do they know that colony will become permanent–and the last stand of the human race. Because, without warning, every single person left on Earth simply...vanishes. Now, a thousand years later, the resources needed to sustain life are running out, and the very existence of the Mars colony is threatened. Humankind has only one option–to return to its home planet.

Great Concept in Short Form
The environment matters and we need to be aware of our effect has on it. This is a mix of romance, hope and sci-fi. It would be better served if it took one or two of these out.
The plot is rushed and could really benefited from more mania, panic or urgency. It was cobbled together making the reader/listener make the jumps.

I enjoyed this short story. I could visualize everything as the narrator brought the story to life. The plot was interesting and kept me engaged for the most part. I wondered off a couple of times and had to rewind. Overall it was a satisfactory story. It was a short 35 minute listen at my listening speed. The narrator did a fine job and I have no complaints.
Disclaimer: I've been listening at 2x speed for so long anything else sounds like slow motion. My enjoyment of the narrator is based on my listening speed. I only leave 5 stars for books I've listened to multiple times. I'll update my review if I listen again.
I requested this book from the author, narrator, or publisher in exchange for an honest, unbiased review.

interesting sci-fi short story
The Narrator did a really good job. The book was an interesting sci-fi story, light, some details, main character development. I'll be interested in reading some of his other books.

Great narrator, simple story
For me, the narrator is always the most important in an audiobook. This narrator does a great job and she is very easy to listen to. The story here is somewhat simple with a strong dose of global warming activism. The “science” component is a bit on the week/simplistic side. You just have to ignore that to get the most out of it.

Interesting premise
Is it insanity or true aliens? Myopic is a great title that fits the story. The author writes about a myopic writer, which gives some great depth to the story. I liked the premise, and listening to this story, I give praise to the author and the narrator. Sometimes you just have to sit back and listen, and enjoy, and that's what I did with this story. It's a journey of faith in oneself and what is out there, the unknown. I enjoyed the story and the narrator engaged the reader with the drama.

myopic
This was a short entertaining story that had my mind clicking and my heart racing a bit. I was sad fot Wilfred, because he almost had it all, but at least he was happy and he and his girlfriend were heros imo. Not what I expected, but I enjoyed it. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this story and am giving an honest review. The narrator was good.
