About this listen
Top experts in many fields hail this book as a roadmap to the future of humanity--a future we can all be excited to be a part of. Many in media paint an image of “a world going to hell in a handbasket"? Science does not agree. This is the most hopeful exciting time in world history for our own health and wellbeing and for the future of our world. The science is in on this.
This author's 1st book not only helped thousands of people worldwide to calm their consciousness, it literally increased coherence of consciousness--planet-wide. This 2nd edition provides the data from Princeton University (PEAR Lab) born Global Consciousness Project showing how this occurred. This book is not only about global transformation, but 100s of pages of science revealing how we can easily become more intelligent, adaptable, creative, boost immunity by 50% to 100%, and become capable of integrative higher Gamma wave consciousness that already is changing lives worldwide, and creating a less-violent, more compassionate society (see the data in this book, if you find this too hopeful to believe).
Learn how the nature of existence is powered by compassion--not poetry or theology--cold hard science. Learn how, from our DNA code to the recently discovered field of global human consciousness, compassion is the most powerful (and healing) human emotion--and this fractal reality carries through not just personal and global health, but the health of our nations and our economies. If all this seems like science-fiction or theological persuasion, this book is a must read, as new science is proving that our consciousness is ALREADY playing a significant role in the formation of our existence, personally and health wise, but also regarding the world around us.
Albert Einstein said, "Is the universe a friendly place?" is the most important question we can ask ourselves, because our world unfolds from that answer. This book provides vast science showing our minds are creating our personal health and the world we see around us. How we see our world is critical to our future. Seeing a world of danger, fear and dread, literally impacts not just our mental/emotional health (which science proves it does), but very literally impacts the physical world around us and planet-wide. FBI and United Nations data provided in this book show that violent crime has been dropping steadily for 40 years, not just in the USA, but in much of the world. Yes, you read that correctly. You just don't hear about this in mainstream media. But it is a stone cold fact. When we walk around believing the world is a violent dangerous place--when data proves it is headed in the opposite direction, a calmer and more compassionate direction--that causes us to suffer health injuring stress for no reason whatsoever.
"The Gospel of Science" dispels a myth of gloom many carry as a fact of reality, which is simply not reality. Yes, our planet has challenges, socially & environmentally, but holding false fears of one another inhibit humanity's ability to work together to solve challenges we "all" face. Fear founded on media myths takes energy away from solutions.
This book offers a single simple PROVEN science-based solution to personal & global challenges!

Story
The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

Story
The 10 enlightening (and often humorous) lectures of Medieval Myths and Mysteries will show you how far from the “dark” times of legend these centuries were. Uncover the facts about the Knights Templar. Reveal the truth behind the tales of legendary creatures like the Questing Beast and the unicorn. Trace the events of the Black Death and the ways it altered the world in its wake, and much more. With Professor Armstrong, you will dig deep into the ways that later generations reshaped the narrative of the medieval years and perpetuated the myths.

A powerfully hopeful case that humanity is evolving in beautiful ways, and science reveals Mind Body practices are fueling it
I quote from an earlier review; Brave, ambitious, philosophical, inspiring and uplifting. This “labor of love” is the most complete and comprehensive blueprint for the healing of our planet and all life forms therein. Painstakingly and well referenced research. Yet, told in a format of how the magic of Mind Body practices, scientifically proven to offer personal and global transformation; Meditation, Tai Chi, Yoga, Chi Kung, and Mindfulness, unfold in the real life of an ordinary human being.

very detailed
lots of infomation on many other and slightly related subjects and most chapters have nothing to do with meditation. Lots of repeating of statements and promotion of the authors website. Computer voice read so many words that are mispoken, and symbols are spoken and it becomes kinda anoying. The author deviates from the topic to his personal beliefs of society ills and how he thinks they can be fixed.

Sensational!
I’ve been reading about and practicing mind-body work for about 30 years and I have NEVER encountered such a massive, detailed, and inspiring book on the subject. The authors share a wealth of information on the health and healing impact of these practices—mentally and physically—and explain that the healing impact extends beyond the individual to communities and even nations. They have an incredible grasp of the subject and they write in a way that makes it accessible to newbies as well as informative to more seasoned practitioners. Everything they write is backed by science and they have a ton of personal experience, always shared with so much humility. Readers will not only learn the theory and science behind these practices, but be instructed in how to do them. The book is a one-stop shop for those interested in understanding the scope of mind-body practices. Shirley Hill
