Publisher's summary
Now, I know what you’re thinking—naked fighting? Really? Yes, really! Trust me, it's not just about getting into hilarious, awkward situations (although there’s plenty of that). It’s about embracing your natural self and learning some valuable self-defense skills while you’re at it.
First, let me give you a bit of background on why I’m so passionate about this. I’ve been a proud nudist for years. There’s something incredibly freeing about shedding your clothes and just being yourself, unencumbered by society’s constraints.
But, just because we prefer to live life sans clothing doesn’t mean we should skip out on important skills like self-defense. In fact, it’s even more crucial! Imagine finding yourself in a precarious situation without the barrier of clothing. You need to be prepared to defend yourself effectively and confidently, without the hindrance of fabric.
Now, you might be wondering how I got into this whole naked fighting thing. Well, let me tell you—it wasn’t by choice at first.
Picture this: me, minding my own business at a secluded beach, when suddenly, I got into a tussle with a fellow beachgoer over the last coconut (yes, really). That was my first naked fight, and let me tell you, it was both hilarious and eye-opening. Who knew that defending yourself without clothes could be such a unique challenge?
Then there was the time at a nudist resort where a misunderstanding during a game of volleyball led to an all-out (naked) brawl. And, of course, there was the epic showdown at a naturist retreat where I had to step in to break up a nude wrestling match gone wrong. Each of these experiences taught me valuable lessons about balance, agility, and confidence—lessons I’m eager to share with you.
But it’s not just my own experiences that make this book worthwhile. I’ve also been an avid observer of the occasional nude scuffle. Watching others handle (or hilariously mishandle) confrontations while in their birthday suits has given me a treasure trove of insights and stories. Trust me, there’s never a dull moment when people are grappling without the constraints of clothing.
In this book, we’re going to dive into the basics of self-defense that can be done while naked. We’ll cover essential techniques, from strikes and blocks to grappling and escapes, all tailored to the unique challenges and advantages of being in the buff. Whether you’re a seasoned nudist or just curious about the concept, these skills are practical, effective, and, let’s face it, a lot of fun to learn.
We’ll also revisit those three unforgettable naked fights I mentioned earlier, analyzing what went right, what went wrong, and what we can learn from each encounter. And, of course, I’ll share the tale of that unforgettable nude fight I watched from the sidelines—a story that’s equal parts cautionary and comical.
So, if you’re ready to embrace your natural state and learn some kick-ass self-defense skills, you’re in the right place. Let’s strip away our fears (and our clothes) and dive into the wonderfully liberating world of naked fighting.
Prepare to laugh, learn, and feel more confident in your own skin. Welcome to the adventure!

To keep the best man from embarrassing himself (and the newlyweds), Nate uses his list of don’ts: Don’t mention the exes, don’t be rated R, and don’t bum everyone out. Nate’s system never fails. “The Heron” is the nickname a big-city accountant has attached to himself in his new home near San Diego, where he’s using the alias to avoid a hit man who may be after him. It seems a former client believes that The Heron has skipped town with several million dollars not his own. Don Winslow’s ensuing, entertaining yarn is by turns twisty, dark, and comical as we observe the delicate dance between the pursuer and the pursued.
