Three chiseled professional athletes. One single woman. And a little girl who will bring them all together.
When these guys showed up to board their dogs, I thought they were just a trio of extremely handsome men.
I definitely didn’t know they were the three most famous athletes in St. Louis.
Christian, the stoic, broad-shouldered quarterback who oozes leadership and confident charm from every pore.
Braden, the blond wide receiver who’s extremely cocky—when he’s not being a mischievous goofball.
Logan, known as the Toronto Terror, the hockey left wing who growls more than he speaks and has a habit of picking fights on—and off—the ice.
They started out boarding their dogs kennel.
Just regular customers without any funny business.
But before I know it, I’m making out with Christian and Braden in a limo.
While Logan’s intense eyes rake over me when he thinks I’m not looking.
And then one day, Logan drops off his daughter without warning.
He expects me to watch her? I babysit dogs, not children.
But soon this little girl captures my heart even more than the three chiseled athletes…
NANNY FOR THE ATHLETES is a scorching, stand-alone reverse harem love story filled with humor, suspense, and excitement. HEA guaranteed!

Character development: 🙃🙁😋🥰
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙
Narration Type: Dual Narration
The heroine: Beth - she recently inherited her grandmother’s house and left her high-power job as a business analyst for a more relaxed existence as owner of a dog kennel. While attending a hockey game with her boyfriend Trip, she gets a lead on her first customers. It was her first time at a hockey game and though she wasn’t a hockey fan, she really enjoyed watching despite how her boyfriend kept announcing how great the seats he got were and how much they cost.
The Heroes: Christian, Braden, Logan - they are some of the most well-known athletes in St. Louis.
Christian - he is quarterback of the professional football team that recently moved cities from Indianapolis to St. Louis. The team hasn’t been doing well, and they are getting a lot of opposition about the fact that the team changed cities.
Braden - he is the wide receiver for the St. Louis Colts and works with Christian, who is his best friend. He and Christian had a girlfriend in Indiana, and she didn’t move when they did.
Logan (a.k.a. The Toronto Terror) - he is from Canada and plays left-wing on the St. Louis Blues, the pro hockey team. He is a broody, growly beast who loves to fight and is good at it. He is also friends with Christian and Braden, he and Christian are brothers-in-law.
The Story: Beth got to talking to Emily and Leslie, who were there because Emily’s brother Logan played for the hockey team they were watching. She tells Emily about her new business owning a dog boarding kennel. Emily tells her that Logan has four dogs, and Leslie says her brother plays for the Colts and also needs a new place to board his dogs during the season for away games. She wasn’t happy how much Trip denigrated her new business telling her how much of a risk she was taking.
Like all of Cassie Cole’s reverse harem romances, this one had plenty of steam, and I liked the fact that the guys were used to sharing a woman, so it was a natural thing for them to want to do that with Beth. The story was good; I loved the addition of the dogs. They each had their own personality and all were lovable. The dog boarding business angle is such a fun addition, giving a natural reason for Beth to meet her love interests while also showing her independence.
This audiobook was narrated from multiple perspectives, done in dual narration by Ramona Radcliff and Julio Maxwell. Romona has a nice voice and sounds about the right age for the character of Beth. Julio Maxwell has a decent voice, though I like a deeper voice for alpha males like this. One thing about this audiobook that bothered me is the fact that a bunch of sentences were repeated, so the editing was faulty.
Another good Cassie Cole reverse harem.

quick fun romance

Second, your narration is horrible. Female voice is dry. Male voice sounds slimy and less volume.
Lastly, the dialog is poorly written.
Overall returning book undeveloped, not edited properly and DNF'ed at chapter 40. At this point I don't care how it ends I'm not emotionally connected and neither were the relationships of the characters. Too much emphasis on the sexualy relationships and nothing else. Don't waste your time on this book. It needs a rewrite and good beta readers.
