Perfect Title.

I loved "Nappily Ever After" so I searched for other books by Trisha Thomas and come across the series. I really loved the characters, Venus, Jake, Clint, Trisha but the story got a little confusing. I put it down for a while and came back. Toward the middle of I got a little more interested and couldn't wait to find out who was causing Jackson Memorial to fail. Was there anything between Jake and Trisha,; how was Venus going to continue to work with her ex - finance. By the end it all came together and I found myself saying I thought so. The title was perfect for this story.

Not bad

Very good read! I enjoyed the follow up from the first book. Love the characters and was surprised with the plot twist.

The drama continues

Very believable storyline and plot that keeps you engaged. You'll ask yourself , why does the character do certain things and laugh when you can relate to her circumstances.

Entertaining & Suspenseful

I enjoyed this book thoroughly. The only question that came to mind is "what happened in Book 2". Nonetheless, it moved smoothly and there were reminiscing parts to bring you up to date. If you could turn the pages...it would be done quickly trying to keep up with the wonders of what happens next.

The narrator made this one a bit slow

to get into, unlike the narrator of book #1. I almost stopped listening but I'm glad I keep going. I love the messiness of Venus Johnston. Just when she think she has it all, real life sets in. And Jake Parsons, he's a perfect mess as well. I'm looking forward to reading book #4.

It was an ok read.

The narator was great, the narrative was not so great. The story left two many unanswered questions. And, not interesting enough for a sequel.

unhappy listening

The lesson I learned from this book is to always listen to the sample offered prior to purchasing.? The plot of the book is weak and predictable, but it could have made good light entertainment if the reader had been able to give the words more life. There were a LOT of pauses that made me wonder if the chapter was finished.?One kind of loses the line of the story with so many long pauses. This is the first time that I got a book that disappointed so much that I only listened to the first part.? I have no desire to finish it.? I'm sorry that it was so poorly presented, because I was really looking forward to listening.
