Story
The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

Story
The book of Enoch was thought to be lost for over 2,000 years until, in 1773, a traveller brought three copies back from Ethiopia. Whether or not this ancient book was actually authored by Enoch, the father of Methuselah and great-grandfather of Noah, is an ongoing debate among historians and theologians. But all recognise the book of Enoch as one of the most important apocalyptic works outside of the Bible.

The Qur'an, believed by Muslims to be the word of God, was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad 1,400 years ago. It is the supreme authority in Islam and the living source of all Islamic teaching; it is a sacred text and a book of guidance that sets out the creed, rituals, ethics, and laws of the Islamic religion. It has been one of the most influential books in the history of literature. Recognized as the greatest literary masterpiece in Arabic, it has nevertheless remained difficult to understand in its English translations.

So Many Things I Never Knew!
This is a fantastic source of information, and I was particularly pleased that some of the various plants mentioned grow right here in the region where I live! I particularly enjoyed the parts about sweet grass and black cohash, and the healing effects they have, and the nutrients contained there-in. The narrator had a relaxing voice that actually gave me a feel-good aura throughout the listen.

Loved it!
I feel super enlightened after listening to 'Native American Herbalism'! The depth of information (the detailed profiles of medicinal plants and insightful discussions on cultural practices among other things) was impressive. As someone who's always been interested in herbal remedies and their traditional roots, this audiobook was a treasure trove of knowledge. The sections on sustainable practices and the importance of respecting nature really added a meaningful perspective. Highly recommended for anyone looking to deepen their understanding of herbalism and its cultural significance. Not to mention, the narrator's voice was super warm and beautifully conveyed the message of the book. At times I literally felt like I was sitting by a campfire learning from a wise elder lol.
