This course traces bourbon's entire history, from the 1700s, with Irish, Scottish, and French settlers setting up stills and making distilled spirits in the New World, through today's booming resurgence.

Natural Medicine for Preppers!
This audiobook fills a much-needed gap in my family's emergency response library. In the past 2 years, we have become "preppers" and have taken many steps to prepare for the worst. One area we have not done much with is educating ourselves on natural remedies and things we can do for ourselves in lieu of having "actual" medicines." This audiobook provides great information in a way that was easy for us all to understand and learn. It really does teach you how to build and create your own pharmacy.

Perfect for preppers
I've read a lot of prepping books and I feel like I know a pretty good amount about things to stockpile, necessities for every bugout bag, and how to hunt for food. I even read about ham radios. But I had never spent any time learning about natural medicine/herbal remedies. Why did I not do this sooner!? But this was a great book for anyone who wants to be prepared for self-sufficiency. I learned so much and feel so much more prepared. And I love that this isn't just information I have to store for the future. I can use this stuff right now!

Great information
As both an herbalist and a prepper I'm excited to listen to this book. Learning about buying, foraging and gardening, using plants as medicine, 90 herbs with uses, doses and storage and integrating those herbs into your life.
Prepping and sustainability is explained, along with the history of Herbal and Plant medicines from early records. Pharmaceuticals and how they come from plants and how to replace them with plants if necessary or by choice.
While listening I'm thinking of things I need to learn more about, and herbs I should probably replace in my apothecary. I love all the information on each herb but wish there was a link to a printout through Audible for the glossary.
