Potbury, with the help of his faithful gun hand, the late Nat McGrue, does everything in his power to thwart the scheming airship owner.

"The Hatching of the Wolf Spider":

The Wolf Spider, powered by a resurrected human brain, is the ultimate weapon of war. A large contingent of military and government guests is invited to the machine's unveiling. Mr. Seven is hopeful of making a handsome profit in future sales. It all goes wrong when the device runs amok and starts attacking everyone.

"Corpse Trouble":

When a client's resurrected sister is possessed by the spirit of a dead gunfighter, Potbury is called upon to convince the ghost to leave the body.
