Braiden's only option to avoid being sunk is to jump ship, and all he has with him are the few coins and a pocket-watch he pilfered from the corpse.
Thus begins a time-travel, fantasy, adventure across the known kingdoms as Braiden and his amazing array of companions battle sea marauders, feral giants, and evil wizards, all while trying to figure out a magical timepiece that might take him back to the girl who has his heart. Interesting!
I am an avid fan of this author and have purchased most of his books. This first book is all about World Building and Character Development. The characters are interesting and the story keeps you engaged in the story. It ended rather abruptly and I immediately started looking for the next book. This is book one in this series and I promise you, knowing this author’s work, it will only get better! Get this book, you won’t regret it!
