Valid medical procedures and ER and staff was true to life.

Loved all the characters and it was hard to figure out who killed Grace! Hard to fool me!

Exciting story, but disappointing AI narrator.

This was an exciting medical thriller. The characters were well developed, with complex relationships. There were several unexpected twists that kept me on the edge. My only complaint was the AI narrator. The voice was flat and full of verbal errors. For example, every time the author mentioned 911, the AI voice would say “nine hundred eleven .” The ME was “me”. It was annoying.

Virtual voice

I enjoyed the book not the narrator. I tried all three books in this series to see if I might adjust to the reading, but I just couldn’t. There didn’t seem to be any inflection in the voice at all, in all three books. It took the joy out of listening to the book, if given a choice I will not choose a virtual voice narration again.
