Publisher's summary

Welcome to a very different kind of business book.

Never Work Again shows you how you can build a successful and profitable business without the long hours and high stress that most entrepreneurs suffer from.

Trust me - I've been there and it's not fun. In the months after I started my first business I didn't know any better. My business was making me ill, but I was too wrapped up in what I was doing to spot the signs let alone to do anything about it. That is until the day I found myself on a London tube train begging a stranger to call me an ambulance and thinking I was going to die. That was my wake-up call. Luckily I got a second chance.

That day I realised that life is short and precious, and I made a decision that if I pulled through I was going to do things differently. I decided to restructure my business efforts, so that I could live life to the full.

What I decided to create for myself was:

  • A business that I could be proud of
  • The financial freedom to live the life of my dreams
  • The time freedom to do the things I love and to be with the people who matter most to me

And now I want to help you do the same.

After all, deciding to start your own business is something you do because you have a vision of a better life for you and your family. It's your chance to take control and live life on your terms. And done right it will give you the financial freedom and the time freedom to do the things you love, when you want to do them and with the people who matter most in your life.

Never Work Again will show you how to create a business that gives you the time to work on your own passions in life.

In short, a business that allows you to work less and earn more.

A Great Foundaton To Create Your Life By Design!

Where does Never Work Again rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I truly enjoyed this book! The author is really on to something!

It's about creating YOUR desired lifestyle. How you can create your life by design, not by default. The essence of this book is the future for many entrepreneurs. A new freedom lifestyle. A lifestyle for people who wants to get more out of life than just working a regular job, living paycheck to paycheck.or working 40-60-80-hour work weeks. It is for people that want to break free from a job they hate. For people that are burnt out by stress, overwhelm, and wish to enjoy more.

There are unlimited possibilities for what we can do with our lives. Why not spend your time on something you truly love. Maybe it is travel, adventure, relaxing on the beach of a tropical island? Maybe it just spending time with your loved ones and people that you truly care about, or maybe just enjoy more freedom.Whatever it may be, you can create it, and after listening to this book, that is what I intend to do.

I think the outline of the book was well thought through by the author. It start with his personal story, how he designed his own life so that he never have to work again, if he doesn't want to. He goes into detail on why he wrote this book, how he found his passion, and how now his mission is to help others break free as well. Free from their businesses, from their jobs, and from anything they desire.

He also gives many great strategies, resources, exercises and ideas that the reader can take and put into action to start create their own freedom. That is something I find very valuable.

What other book might you compare Never Work Again to and why?

I have read several other books on this topic of creating your life by design and I must say that this one is definitely up there among the best and I will personally use it to create a foundation for my own business and personal life. If you have read, The 4-hour Work Week, by Tim Ferriss, I think that you will really enjoy this book since the author is truly living the 4-hour work week lifestyle and show how you can do it too. And if you haven't read that book, Never Work Again is even better to start with in my opinion.

What does Alex Rehder bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

For me, the audiobook was the preferred choice since I am always listening to audios when I'm driving or am out walking. It is a time saver for me since I am also a pretty slow reader. The narrator's voice is also easy to listen to.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, definitely! and I actually did just that! It is short enough to listen to all in one sitting and I never even got tired.

I will definitely listen to it again and take more notes so that I can start implementing as much as I can beause this book contains some phenomenal ideas on how to create life by design.

Any additional comments?

Get this book! The strategies and ideas has the potential to completely transform your life, and it also let YOU sit by the steering wheel and decide where to go.

A good book, but 4-hour work week in disguise.

I think it's a good book, even though it is kind of a rewritten 4-hour work week, most of the topics and points are the same.
It's some nice tools etc. but it quickly becomes clear that this book is a lead generator for Erlands courses and etc. but he is not trying to hide it.

I think that there are some really strong points in the book, which most people can use, what I like most is the first topics about the philosophy which amazingly very few Entrepreneurs are aware of: you can always make more money, but your time is only once, so spend it wisely and figure out what you love.

This book is the GOAT!

This is the one of my top five favorite books. The author gives you the formula for how to never work again. All you have to do is follow the plan and take action! The book is relevant still to this day. The only con is that the free resources are no longer available on the website www.neverworkagain.com.

great info with one annoying flaw..

loved the information so much that I ordered a physical copy from Amazon. there are references to exercises etc... that I think you really need to see to get the true benefit.

The biggest issue though is that the narrator mispronounces Tao throughout the ENTIRE BOOK! It drove me nuts... I hope that the author reads this review and corrects this. This is the kind of thing that really hurts your credibility with certain readers.

Excrptional book.

There are very few books that have inspired me to explore the world of e-commerce paired with outsourcing as well as this book has. This book inspires one to just want to take action and start. There are many free tesources included in the book and well worth the read(listen)

Do not judge the book by its cover

You will have better use out of the four hour workweek by Tim Ferris and rich dad poor dad. Very obvious that these books were referenced heavily when he wrote this book or should I say just copied the ideas. Also he mentions his website about 100 times, no doubt, using this book to funnel you there in order to buy a more expensive piece of information that probably delivers the same copied ideas...
