About this listen

A world ruled by autocrats and plagued by terrorism. Is there No Other Way?

His mission is to save the country from eco-terrorists. Those who will stop at nothing to break fossil fuel’s stranglehold on the world’s economies.
She has dedicated her life to saving the world from the devastating effects of climate change. Is her vast wealth enough to make a difference?

A mysterious text message and a senseless attack at a football game beg the question, who are the terrorists? Religious zealots or eco-nuts? Who, exactly, is he fighting? Can he stop them before it's too late?

She thinks climate change is the existential threat. He thinks terrorists will destroy the world. What if they’re both wrong?

I enjoyed this story. It's sadly very believable. I would have liked it to be a little longer, with more details of the investigations and of how NOW accomplished their attacks. / This is the first I've ever listened to an audio book read by AI. Though good, the AI often didn't get it right. Not enough inflection, proper pauses or emphasis on words that a real person would do. For example at one point a character said " well, well...". A human would know the words should sound different from each other. The AI just said them the same. Though amazing AI isn't a good substitute for a real narrator.

Good story, AI voice lacking.
