About this listen

Noah heard the woman’s cry for help through Levi’s phone, and he was already in the car and moving before anyone could stop him. He hated for any woman to be in distress, and this one sounded devastated. Having helped her once, he was determined to keep her safe, while the team tracked down her attacker.

Dianne was looking forward to her upcoming weekend seminar and even more to the few days with her friend, Ice, at the compound. Dianne wanted to talk over a business idea she was ready to put into place. Being attacked wasn’t part of the plan. Neither was Noah. Still she was happy to have him as a babysitter, given the circumstances.

Only someone has a grudge against Levi and sees Dianne as a way to get back at him.

The story was ok but the narrator just didn't add anything to the book. I don't think was the right genre for him. Everything seemed so matter of fact and their was not a lot of emotion added

Narration wasn't very good

Great story line. Narrator not so good. Some of the voice s were really funky. I have all books up to this as well as seals of honor all books and steel books. This narrated book was one narration I didn't like.

I really enjoyed the storyline but was frustrated by the characterization of Noah. He is an ex Navy seal and while they can joke, the goofball attitude that the actor took, just didn’t fit Noah’s character. I kept waiting for him to be serious about Di’s situation. There can be teasing without the attitude of complete lack of respect. Really the story told me how they came together, but the voice did not. All the other books have been amazing. I didn’t get to enjoy this one as much because of the characterization. I just don’t think the person read any of the other books in the series - it was just so off.

Story was great - characterization- not so much.

The story was very good but the narrator I didn’t like at all. There were
Placed in the book where the lines were repeated twice. This happened throughout the book.

This was not up to Dale Mayer standards.
The narrator was horrible, the story was awful, Di was a twit and the team was bumbling around the entire story.

Worst Mayer book ever.
